ANOTHER IMPORTANT REASON TO VOTE FOR GOVERNOR PAT QUINN
10/30/14 - Teamsters Local 179
Dear Friends, If you are reading this or have received this letter in an email, you are probably a client or former client and a friend of GWC.  While we normally don't ask our friends to vote for certain candidates in an election, we feel compelled to make an exception when it comes to this year's election for Illinois Governor.

Meet Dalton
10/30/14 - IUEC Local 10
Everyone meet Dalton.  He is the step son of brother Roger Pirner.  Dalton is one of the bravest and strongest 15 year olds I have ever had the pleasure to bring to anyones attention.  This young man has been fighting for his life for the past year.  Just before his 14th birthday, he was diagnosed with a very rare tumor, Desmoplstic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT).

From Wisconsin & Rauner -if we only knew what we know now
10/30/14 - McLean County Democratic Party
“ If we knew then what we know now” On Feb 11, 2011 newly elected Governor Scott Walker dropped a bomb on Wisconsin labor, including me and my fellow educators. He proposed a bill called Act 10, that would effectively take away all of our collective bargaining rights. Despite our efforts the bill eventually passed and the pain followed right behind.
Rauner vs Burns: can you tell them apart?
10/30/14 - McLean County Democratic Party
Who said it?  Illinois Republican Governor candidate Bruce Rauner or C. Montgomery Burns, the wealthiest man on the Simpsons? a) I am adamantly, adamantly against raising the minimum wage. b) No. Not every job should be in America. c) Counties and municipalities, if the state allows them to, can choose for themselves whether to be right-to-work.

October 29, 2014 -- One of the most common themes for Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Reports submitted from Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) involve time constraints and pressure. It is not always a supervisor standing over us saying, "get the job done now," sometimes we as technicians put the pressure on ourselves. We need to realize this concept and correct the problem where it exists. This is where the idea of safety over schedule comes in to play.
